Publix Subs YouTube:
History:
Publix was started by George Jenkins, who worked for some years as a manager and a store clerk at a supermarket from 1926 to 1930.
He then began his own grocery shop, taking the Publix name from a NY-based movie theater brand at the time.
He opened the first location in Winter Haven, Florida, back in 1930, and it was really successful in reaching sales of up to 120,000 dollars back in 1934. The store flourished, despite the Great Depression.
Then in 1940, he started the first supermarket in Florida. That was the beginning of Publix’s expansion and growth, and today, it is a truly thriving business.
With the supermarkets in a lot of outlets, it just made sense that they then started the Publix Subs & Deli for their patrons who desire a filling sandwich that is also affordable and quick.
Terrific Sandwiches:
Publix is now regarded as among the top sandwich restaurants in the United States, competing with brands like Capriotti’s, Jersey Mike’s, Jimmy John’s, and Au Bon Pain.
The sandwiches at Publix are really quite simple, but what makes them exceptional is that they all have fresh ingredients.
You are also capable of customizing the sandwiches, and you may be capable of picking the type of meats, bread, and the different other toppings.
The standard Publix meats are all awesome, but you can upgrade them with the better Boar Head’s meats.
Still, the subs are just amazing, and you really ought to try the following:
Ultimate Sub:
It was first started more than twenty years ago, and it proved really well-liked that it remains a bestseller.
It has top-round roast beef, tavern ham, and turkey breast, along with Swiss cheese.
You then append your preferred veggies among the toppings, and you are good to go. It basically provides a nice sample of diverse meat accompanied by favorite vegetables.
Havana Bold Sub:
It’s really a bold combo of flavors that’ll get your attention.
It has tavern ham and Peppenero ham, along with some delicious Gouda plus bacon and pickles. It is not a really common sub, so you may enjoy the new taste.
Chicken Cordon Bleu:
It has the special Boar’s Head rotisserie seasoned chicken with some tavern ham and bacon.
Then it gets Swiss cheese melted over the meat, together with Dijon mustard for an additional delicious kick. Everything’s on the fresh-baked Italian five-grain roll, and it is an awesome sub for lunch.
Italian Sub:
It has got to be one of the top Italian subs available. It has tavern ham, capicola, and genoa salami, some provolone cheese, and your own preferred set of toppings.
It is an awesome sandwich for carnivores, and it may even be better if you want to have the bread toasted beforehand. It’s a really filling lunch that would not leave you desiring more.
Chicken Tender Sub:
Last, of all, there is the Chicken Tender Sub. It is definitely not the least in terms of popularity, as it is now the top bestseller at Publix.
It has hand-breaded chicken tenders that are just tasty, and then you can append your preferred toppings and cheese.
If you desire something special, ask that they toss the tenders in buffalo sauce first!
