This place was started by C Dennis Scott, one of the Ovation Brand’s founders, previously recognized as Buffets, Inc., back in 1989. Hometown Buffet was at first not the Ovation Brand’s part as it was a personal endeavor of Scott after gaining a little experience.

However, back in 1996, this place was merged with Old Country Buffet. A few shops of the latter chain were branded once again and turned into the different Hometown Buffet locations. At the peak of it, around 250 Hometown Buffet sites are found all across the United States. Today, just thirty-three remain.

Twenty-five of them are found in South California only, while the rest are in the different other states. If you are searching for a classic all-you-can-eat experience, then go to the Hometown Buffet; this restaurant would definitely satisfy you.

They provide food that everybody is acquainted with, so it is ideal for family outings. With the choice, nobody will be left wanting. Since they concentrate on home-cooked-style meals, everybody will certainly enjoy the offerings.
